Dungeons are optional PvE instances designed for a full party of five. There are eight dungeons at release, found every 10 levels starting at level 30. Three of the eight dungeons are designed for Level 80 Rare rarity available as rewards from Defeat Tequatl the Sunless's group event: Benthic Aquabreather (light) Benthic Waterbreather (medium) Benthic Hydrobreather (heavy) Fine and Masterwork . Level 80 Fine and Masterwork rarities may be purchased from Explorer Gavbeorn Serpentslayer for 581 and 1,155 , respectively. Level 79 and below this isn't just due to high level players, its also because of repeated nerfs to central tyria because in their testing arenanet decided newer players couldn't handle the difficulty of things like "skills" and "water". this isn't sarcasm, they literally tested the game on a group of inexperienced players and determined they just couldn't handle the difficulty of the leveling zones. A level 25 doing a level 25 event will receive 7%. Seems pretty close in my opinion. That's about 29-30% decrease in efficiency, so if you need to go fast go for the properly leveled ones. Unless you're only planning on doing one event, in which case a 2% loss in percentage points becomes barely measurable. 10 reward tracks on PvP and WvW should take 1 or 2 weeks for a casual player for lvl 80. On pure PvE it depends a lot. Without abusing dungeons I would prolly take 3 or 4 weeks for lvl 80. If you can abuse dungeons, even if carried, it wouldn't take more than 2 weeks. GW2 has a fairly easy grind. I have 3 level 80s and I've used 1 out of the 3 to beat all 3 main quest lines of the game. I always use my Necromancer. The base game and the 2 expansions. Not just that I've accomplished a huge of amount of things. So getting to my point. When I go to another one of my level 80's who hasn't accomplished what my main character has. .
